1 year contract with the possibility of 4 years extension Primary Duty Station: Santa Fe Indian Health Center (SFIHC) 1700 Cerrillos Road, Santa Fe, NM 87505 Additional Clinic Locations (Rotation 2 3 days per month): Cochiti Health Clinic, Cochiti, NM San Felipe Health Clinic, San Felipe Pueblo, NM Santa Clara Health Center, Espanola, NM

Shifts Required Per Month: 2 3 clinic days per month at Santa Clara Health Center Remaining clinic days at Santa Fe Indian Health Center Additional rotation to Cochiti and San Felipe clinics when required

Schedule Monday Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM No evenings, weekends, or federal holidays Onsite only (non-remote)

Licenses and Certifications Active LISW or LCSW license (any state license accepted) Current BLS certification (ACLS/PALS preferred)

Education: Bachelor's in Social Work required; MSW preferred

Minimum Requirement Minimum 1 year of clinical social work or behavioral health experience Experience with crisis intervention, assessments, and case management Ability to work collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams Familiarity with EHR systems (IHS/RPMS experience preferred) Must complete required IHS trainings after onboarding

Key Responsibilities Conduct behavioral health assessments, treatment planning, and crisis intervention Provide individual, group, and family counseling Deliver culturally sensitive care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients Coordinate care with physicians, psychiatrists, and tribal/community programs Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the IHS Electronic Health Record Participate in quality improvement, peer reviews, and case presentations Provide follow-up care and coordinate specialty behavioral health referrals Support IHS policies, confidentiality standards, and ethical guidelines.
