Position Title:
Construction Project Engineer II - Community College Program - Owners Team

A successful candidate for this position will be assigned to the DACM contract with the Los Angeles Community College (LACCD) Build LACCD Facilities Construction Program.
Salary: $125,000 to $128,000 per annum

Position Description:
• Provide technical skills and coordination support to the Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QAQC) Department. • Coordinate with Program Management Office (PMO) staff, College Project Teams (CPT), and College staff. • Participate in, and occasionally run, QAQC meetings. • Conduct field checks and site walks to verify compliance with assigned metrics related to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) or other assessment criteria. • Support in addressing matters with the CPTs and PMO related to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), KPIs, and assessments. • Assist in preparing written materials including correspondence, reports, procedures, and guidelines. • Develop monthly project status reports for all assigned active construction projects. • Review construction change orders and construction field orders.
• Review construction and professional services contracts. • Manage data collection for status report updates, and review documentation as needed with CPT/PMO. • Review project risks and coordinate with CPT to develop project status reports. • Facilitate resolutions related to QAQC issues. • Coordinate with CPT for timely and accurate responses to requests for information. • Generate and distribute meeting minutes and maintain project files for reporting. • Assist in the development of Key Performance Indicator (KPIs) • Responsible for monitoring and addressing KPIs with CPT/PMO. • Maintain various trending reports for assigned campus i.e. RFIs, CCDs. • Assist in the development of new trending reports and attributes for assessments. • Coordinate and prepare materials for CPT workshops. • Assist in SOP GAP analysis. • Support and compile data for on-going audits, as necessary. • Assist in process improvement initiatives and coordination. • Review project data for conformance to SOP and/or QAQC metrics. • Other job-related duties or projects as assigned.
