Cincinnati, OH Direct Hire | 100% Onsite Salary: $95,000 - $125,000
A high growth manufacturer with a strong national presence is seeking a Credit & Collections Manager to join its Financial Shared Services team. The Credit & Collections Manager will oversee the credit and collections department, managing staff, developing strategies to minimize risk, and ensuring timely recovery of outstanding payments.

Key Responsibilities Lead and mentor the credit and collections team, including hiring, training, performance management, and compliance. Develop and implement collection strategies, oversee complex accounts, and coordinate with third-party agencies or legal action when necessary. Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, and other departments to resolve credit and collection matters effectively. Conduct credit risk assessments, verify financial status of prospective customers, and recommend credit approvals or rejections. Prepare monthly bad debt reserve assessments and ensure adherence to corporate policies. Oversee resolution of billing disputes and customer inquiries related to invoices and payments. Establish and maintain credit and collection guidelines, procedures, and provide support during internal and external audits.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business, Accounting, or Finance required. 8+ years of professional experience in credit and collections. 5+ years in a supervisory capacity. Solid understanding of accounting and credit/collection concepts. 2+ years in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency with large ERP systems.
