Responsibilities
Case Strategy & Litigation Management: Evaluate case findings and develop defense arguments for trial.
Client Counseling & Risk Assessment: Advise clients on litigation risks, strategy, and legal obligations.
Courtroom & Mediation Advocacy: Prepare for and attend hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials.
Legal Research & Writing: Draft legal motions, discovery responses, and trial documents to support defense strategies.
Discovery & Case Preparation: Conduct medical record reviews, work with expert witnesses, and build strong case strategies.
What You Bring Experience
3‑5 years of experience handling nursing home and/or medical malpractice defense litigation preferred.
Attorneys with a strong litigation background but without prior medical malpractice experience will also be considered.
Legal Knowledge & Skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Strong research, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.
Ability to work independently while managing complex litigation matters.
Education & Licensure
Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA‑accredited law school.
Licensed to practice law in Georgia and in good standing with the Florida Bar.
