QA Automation Lead/Engineer

Jacobs Levy Equity Management, located in Florham Park, NJ, is seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) Automation Lead or Engineer to support quality assurance in applications. This role is to lead or assist in the automation and improvement in the testing of application systems that support our proprietary quantitative investment strategies.
Primary Responsibilities
Develop QA test automation framework including evaluating automation test tools and proof of concepts
Perform hands‑on software quality assurance and automation testing to ensure specifications are met
Maintain the test data for automation deliverables and assist in writing efficient, reusable automated test plans/cases
Prepare the necessary data to cover various automation scenarios and write SQL scripts to verify the database updates, insertion and deletion of the records
Responsible for integrating and improving the change management processes including bug tracking, source control, CI/CD, and release management
Manage and automate software (C++, .Net, C#) deployment using Git, TeamCity, Octopus Deploy, etc.
Requirements
Master’s degree in Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent
Minimum of four (4) years of experience of Software Quality Automation
Working knowledge with bug tracking, source control, build CI/CD automation, release management & deployment automation solutions
Experience in creating, maintaining, and executing automated test scripts at the code level; Experience with Google Test or Microsoft Unit test tools is a plus
Be able to work within an Agile environment, processes, and tools
Comfortable with collaboration, open communication and reaching across Development, QA, Operations, and cross functional teams
Prior experience in C++ and/or C# is a plus
Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
