We’re hiring our second engineer to help us keep up with demand as cities and counties look to replace expensive consultants and plan for a modern workforce.
What You’ll Do
Build and maintain enterprise‑grade features across our stack (NextJS, TypeScript, PostgreSQL/Supabase, Tailwind)
Design data pipelines for processing job information from government sources
Support our AI/ML integration efforts and LLM‑powered features
Work closely with founders to translate product requirements into technical solutions
Help shape technical architecture, CI/CD processes, and engineering culture from the ground up
What We’re Looking For
4‑6 years of full‑stack product development experience, ideally with strong backend expertise in data modeling and scalable architectures
Experience with server‑side React/NextJS and TypeScript
Comfort with complex data processing and ETL workflows
Ownership mindset—you drive solutions independently and thrive in early‑stage ambiguity
Genuine excitement about shaping team culture and best practices
What You’ll Get
$160‑180K base salary + 0.25‑0.5% equity
Hybrid work environment (3‑4 days in office)
Direct founder collaboration with ownership over significant technical components
