The
Senior Software Engineer
is a key technical contributor responsible for
designing, developing, and scaling cloud‑native software solutions
that power Re:Build’s digital platforms. This role combines deep hands‑on engineering with architectural influence to ensure reliability, performance, and maintainability across complex systems.
You will
collaborate closely with product, design, and cross‑functional engineering teams
to drive innovation, integrate emerging technologies such as
AI/ML , and deliver high‑quality software that meets both business and technical objectives.
The ideal candidate excels at
solving complex technical challenges , champions
clean, efficient, and testable code , and contributes to a culture of continuous improvement through
code reviews, mentorship, and adherence to best practices . Staying ahead of industry trends, you’ll help shape Re:Build’s technology roadmap and keep our solutions scalable, secure, and future‑ready.

Must‑Have Qualifications Programming & Frameworks
Deep expertise in
C#
and proficiency with modern JavaScript frameworks, especially
React , for building responsive, high‑performance, and user‑centric web applications.
Cloud & Infrastructure
Strong experience in
architecting and deploying cloud‑native, serverless, and containerized applications
on
AWS
(Lambda, ECS, DynamoDB, S3, Step Functions, API Gateway, Fargate).
AI/ML Integration
Experienced in integrating
AI/ML technologies
into production software systems, leveraging frameworks like
OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, and LangChain , and possessing a strong foundation in algorithms, data structures, APIs, and intelligent automation workflows.
APIs & Integration
Proficiency in designing and working with
RESTful and GraphQL APIs .
Security & Compliance
Awareness of
authentication, authorization, encryption , and
compliance best practices
for cloud‑hosted applications.
Agile Practices
Hands‑on experience participating in
Agile ceremonies
such as sprint planning, retrospectives, and cross‑team collaboration.
Personal & Professional Attributes

For consideration, candidates must be based in either Seattle, WA or Los Angeles, CA.
Quarterly travel required.
Travel Requirement
Quarterly travel to the Los Angeles, CA office is required for team meetings.
Compensation Expectations Salary range: $115 K to $170 K, depending on candidate experience. Additionally, an annual cash bonus and long‑term incentive are available.
