Director of Sales
Exciting Director of Sales Opportunity! We are currently on the hunt for a Director of Sales at Crestline Hotels & Resorts. The ultimate mission of this role is to drive market share growth and guest satisfaction, working with a premium brand that has consistently been recognized as a great place to work.
Key Responsibilities
Quickly understand market conditions and lead opportunities for revenue growth from existing and new customers and the competitive landscape.
Drive a culture of success and effective sales tactics while mentoring the existing sales team.
Collaborate with the General Manager, Revenue Management and Regional Sales staff to ensure alignment and open communication.
Maintain strong selling skills and style to connect quickly with customers.
Focus on growth of total hotel revenue and positive RevPAR index change year-over-year.
Execute the sales process to contract group business and secure corporate negotiated rate accounts.
Champion the hotel’s overall business plan and focus on execution.
Understand and recommend on the hotel’s comparative set to the Field Sales Staff and General Manager.
Optimize staff, ensuring both new hires and current sales staff understand their mission and have the tools for success.
Build relationships with key players, including hotel ownership and pertinent field/corporate staff.
Education and Experience
High School Graduate or GED with 3–5 years of equivalent work experience.
Strong understanding of hotel sales and comparative sets with a proven track record of success.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Basic computer skills; ability to analyze information quickly from spreadsheets and databases.
Preferred Skills and Education
Bachelor’s Degree.
Experience with premium‑branded Select, Focused, or Extended Hotel Stay programs.
Delphi experience for Hilton/Marriott Hotels or Envision for Crestline’s Hyatt Hotels.
