Job Summary We are looking for a self‑motivated Commercial Sales professional to drive the growth of our commercial division. You will be responsible for the full sales cycle: prospecting new clients, surveying job sites, creating accurate cost estimates, and presenting winning proposals. This is a 'hunter' role that requires technical HVAC knowledge to price jobs profitably.
Key Responsibilities
Actively hunt and qualify new opportunities with General Contractors, Property Managers, and Building Owners.
Conduct site visits to inspect equipment, measure ductwork, identify constraints (crane/roof access), and determine the scope of work.
Perform material and labor takeoffs from blueprints or site visits. Build precise cost estimates including equipment, subs, and labor hours.
Create professional proposals, present value‑engineering solutions, and relentlessly follow up to secure signed contracts.
Ensure a smooth transition to the Project Manager/Foreman with clear documentation and scope review.
Qualifications
Minimum 3+ years in Commercial HVAC (Sales, Estimating, or Field experience).
Deep understanding of commercial systems (RTUs, Split Systems, VRF, Make‑up Air) and the ability to read mechanical blueprints.
Proficiency in Excel for estimating, strong math/analytical skills, and excellent written communication for proposals.
A 'hunter' mentality and self‑driven to find work and close it.
Valid Driver's License and the ability to climb ladders and navigate active construction sites safely.
