At HYFIX, we are building pioneering Spatial AI and autonomous systems to shape the future of intelligent technology. Our team is global, forward-thinking, and passionate about innovation. We thrive on solving complex challenges and are committed to creating solutions that push the boundaries of what’s possible.

About the Role We are seeking a skilled GNSS Systems Engineer with strong experience in GNSS hardware, module development, and performance optimization. This role focuses on evaluating and enhancing the performance of GNSS chipsets and modules by working closely with firmware engineers and RF teams.

Key Responsibilities

Contribute to the

design, development, and technical review

of GNSS modules.

Deep understanding of the GNSS chipset architecture, signal tracking algorithms, baseband behavior, and performance characteristics, and provide technical review and integration guidance.

Collaborate with hardware teams to improve RF front‑end design, antenna integration, and overall module performance.

Review module‑level schematics, PCB layout, and RF signal path decisions.

Signal Processing & Tracking

Apply strong knowledge of

GNSS signal tracking, acquisition, multi‑frequency processing, and interference mitigation.

Analyze raw GNSS data (IQ samples, tracking logs, navigation messages) to diagnose performance issues.

Embedded Systems & Firmware

Debug and optimize

embedded RTOS & Linux C/C++ firmware

for GNSS modules.

Troubleshoot firmware–hardware integration issues and propose fixes.

Support continuous performance improvements through firmware updates.

Familiar with ARM and/or RISC‑V toolchain.

Performance Analysis, Debugging & Production Readiness

Perform detailed

GNSS chipset and module performance evaluations

under real‑world conditions.

Debug issues involving signal quality, multipath, RF interference, timing, sensor fusion, or hardware anomalies.

Work with engineering teams on

GNSS chipset performance tuning

and

module mass‑production readiness .

Create clear documentation, test reports, and technical recommendations.

Participate in design reviews with the Silicon team and provide technical guidance.

Required Qualifications

Master’s degree in engineering

(Electrical, Computer, Robotics, Aerospace, or related field).

Deep understanding of

GNSS systems , tracking loops, signal structures (GPS, Galileo, BeiDou, GLONASS), interference, and multipath.

Strong hands‑on experience with

embedded RTOS & Linux C/C++ , firmware debugging, and hardware bring‑up.

Experience with

RF systems , antennas, and GNSS module hardware.

Ability to analyze GNSS raw data, track logs, and RF measurements.

Strong debugging skills across hardware, firmware, and signal domains.

Nice to Have Qualifications and Benefits

Experience with GNSS high‑precision technologies, including

PVT, RTK, PPP , and multi‑frequency positioning.

Hands‑on experience with

GNSS + IMU sensor fusion , including integration, calibration, and performance tuning.

401(k) plan.

Vision insurance.

Paid time off.
