Primary Purpose The Senior Software Engineer–MuleSoft/Master Data Management delivers technically sound, high‑quality, innovative software solutions that adhere to coding standards and technical design. The role researches, designs, develops and implements new software solutions, enhances existing capabilities, and collaborates with squad members, stakeholders and the product team to ensure products meet business, functional and technical requirements. The engineer is responsible for projects from inception to completion, managing all project artifacts, reporting, and supervising less experienced contributors.
Duties & Responsibilities
Design technical solutions based on scope, requirements and product team input.
Build and configure components (interfaces, conversions, reports, workflows) so the design meets business needs and architecture standards.
Write and document programming code to meet gathered requirements.
Perform code reviews and quality assurance to ensure compliance with technical and business standards.
Collaborate with the squad to refine user stories and acceptance criteria.
Prepare development and test environments and execute testing.
Deliver solutions via MDM, ERP or SaaS solutions (Informatica, Stibo, SAP, Oracle Fusion, etc.).
Fix bugs identified during quality assurance and testing.
Continuously reduce technical debt and decommission legacy applications and solutions.
Perform updates and enhancements to the solution as needed.
Release software into production and conduct release testing (system integration, mock conversion, parallel, regression, performance and stress, infrastructure).
Propose and lead initiatives to improve team working methods and reduce technical debt.
Develop solutions of diverse scope and solve technical problems impacting multiple areas or disciplines.
Communicate within the internal team and with external client teams.
Lead project/team efforts regarding solution design, processes and approaches.
Act as a subject‑matter expert on technology solutions.
Deliver high‑quality work in cross‑functional team environments, often leading technical assessments and responsibilities.
Lead collaborative brainstorming sessions and set technical delivery approaches, maintaining self‑led work drive and accountability.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, CIS or related field (or equivalent experience).
Mulesoft Anypoint experience; certification preferred.
5+ years of relevant technology experience.
Experience leading teams in an advanced role or technical capacity.
Proven experience as a Software Engineer or Developer.
Ability to develop code in Java, JavaScript and/or Python.
Knowledge of Master Data Management concepts.
Excellent knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
Experience with cloud technologies (Azure, AWS).
Experience working in an agile environment.
Experience with test‑driven development.
Ability to document requirements and specifications.
Proficiency in troubleshooting software issues and debugging large codebases.
Skills: Programming, Testing, Analytical Thinking, Agile Development, Problem Solving, Cybersecurity Risk Management, Data Privacy, Application Security, Technical Troubleshooting.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree in a relevant field or additional relevant certifications.
Experience in Agile teams and/or product/platform operating models.

Salary Range: $125,040 – $187,560 Actual compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on their unique qualifications and experience, internal equity and market conditions. Final compensation decisions will be made in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
