Qualifications
5+ years of data architecture experience
5+ years hands‑on implementation in cloud data platforms including enterprise‑scale data platform design and implementation
3+ years designing and implementing modern data platform architectures, including unified analytics platforms, data governance frameworks, workspace management, and cluster optimization strategies at enterprise scale
Expert‑level dimensional modeling, lakehouse architectures, and enterprise data model design with extensive hands‑on implementation experience across multiple domains
Hands‑on experience building data governance frameworks, data lineage systems, and compliance reporting for regulated environments
Deep expertise in modern table formats (Delta Lake, Iceberg), liquid clustering, partition strategies, and query performance tuning at multi‑terabyte scale; proficiency in SQL (expert level), Python (advanced) for implementing architectural patterns and complex data transformations
Expert knowledge of cloud data services with hands‑on implementation experience including object storage, managed ETL services, distributed compute engines, data warehousing solutions, and serverless analytics platforms
Desired Skills
Hands‑on experience with Infrastructure as Code using AWS CloudFormation or similar tools for implementing enterprise data platform infrastructure
Experience designing and implementing enterprise knowledge graphs, semantic ontologies, and graph database architectures using managed graph services and open‑source solutions
Experience architecting and implementing ML/AI infrastructure including feature stores, model deployment patterns, MLOps frameworks, and RAG system architectures
Deep understanding of data lakehouse concepts including medallion architecture, batch vs streaming processing patterns, ACID transactions, and incremental processing strategies with hands‑on implementation
Experience designing and implementing complex multi‑system integrations, API architectures, real‑time data streaming solutions, and enterprise data mesh patterns
Hands‑on experience with cost optimization strategies, compute resource right‑sizing, cost management frameworks, and implementing cost governance across large‑scale data platforms

Pay Transparency The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is $120k - $121k/yr. As a non‑exempt position, this role will be eligible for overtime at 1.5 times the base rate or as required by state or local law.
