Specialist Recruiter (Quality . Regulatory. Operations) Senior Supplier Quality Engineer

We have the pleasure of working with a global player who specialises in the design, manufacture and marketing of security equipment. Due to their continued development they are seeking to recruit an experienced engineer to join their growing Supplier Quality organisation.

Our Client is looking for a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer who can own supplier performance, drive improvements, and ensure world‑class quality across a high‑tech, high‑stakes product range used in multiple environments around the world including government/defence.

What You’ll Do

Lead supplier development to boost quality, capability, and delivery.

Run supplier audits and close actions fast.

Qualify new parts, processes, tooling, and secondary operations.

Tackle nonconformances with solid root‑cause and corrective action (8D, 5 Whys, CAPA).

Partner with Engineering on complex technical issues.

Support NPI, design reviews, engineering changes, and configuration control.

Own supplier quality KPIs and drive continuous improvement and cost‑down activity.

Communicate confidently with senior stakeholders and escalate issues when needed.

To be considered for this position you will need to have

7+ years in Supplier Quality/Quality Engineering or engineering within complex mechanical or electro‑mechanical manufacturing.

Strong background within an environment that sources multiple materials and components.

Expert in GD&T, measurement methods, and data analysis.

Understanding of ISO 9001 and preferably ISO 14001.

Skilled in SolidWorks, statistical tools, and leading improvement projects.

Understanding of Production Parts Approval Process.

Past Auditor experience, certification preferred.

Passport + driver’s licence; able to travel up to 25%.
