Role Responsibilities

Define Strategic Vision & Roadmap: Lead the long‑term vision and technology strategy for digital platform engineering, aligning it with business goals and influencing roadmap priorities.

Drive Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with engineering, Product, and Operations teams across the enterprise to co‑shape product strategy and technical solutions.

Deliver Technical & Business Outcomes: Make effective product and trade‑off decisions that positively impact key metrics such as page load time, API performance, latency, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Architect Scalable, High‑Performance Systems: Guide development of highly available, low‑latency, high‑throughput API/Customer experience with quality and speed.

Translate Strategy into Execution: Turn strategic plans into quarterly OKRs and execution plans, balancing fast delivery with technical debt management.

Operational Excellence & Support: Establish processes to manage ad‑hoc support requests without disrupting primary delivery cadence, fostering responsiveness and consistency.

Foster Engineering Excellence Culture: Cultivate a high‑performance culture grounded in coding standards, architectural rigor, and collaborative norms, while influencing team values and norms.

Lead and Mentor Across Regions: Attract, develop, and mentor regional/global engineering talent, promoting scalability and leadership throughout the organization.

Champion Quality, Performance & Developer Experience: Uphold the customer journey, product quality, system performance, and developer experience. Advocate for automation, observability, and platform abstractions that enhance engineering efficiency.

Role Requirements

Demonstrated leadership experience in leading an engineering organization at scale.

BS in Computer Science or related fields with 12+ years of professional experience or MS with 10+ years of experience with 6+ years in a leadership role.

Proven ability to understand business and contribute to technology direction that drives measurable business improvements.

Excellent decision‑making, communication, and collaboration skills.

Excellent understanding of computer science fundamentals, data structures, algorithms, OOPs, and OOA/D.

Experience in modern programming languages (e.g., React JS, React Native, GraphQL, Java Spring Boot, Angular JS) and design patterns.

Demonstrated capabilities in assessing business needs while providing creative and effective solutions in conformance to emerging technology standards.

Experience with architecture design concepts and techniques and the ability to communicate and evangelize those concepts to a broad‑based team.

Hands‑on experience in building microservices‑based architecture and platform developed and deployed at scale.

Hands‑on experience building enterprise‑scale global web and mobile applications.

Experience with agile development methodologies, Test‑Driven Development (TDD), and CI/CD.

Experience in Cloud (AWS) based architecture designs and implementations.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in the FinTech industry.

Experience building external customer‑facing applications with open‑source technologies (React JS, React Native, Java Spring Boot, GraphQL).

Salary The base salary range is $180,000 – $220,000 USD per year. Total on‑target compensation includes a base salary plus long‑term and short‑term incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on candidate’s qualifications, skills and competencies.
