We are seeking a Corporate Controller who brings deep financial expertise, strong leadership, values‑driven decision‑making, and a passion for developing people and teams. This role leads our Finance and Accounting organization, ensuring timely and accurate reporting, robust financial analysis and planning, and reliable forecasting.

Key Responsibilities Consolidated Financial Reporting and Analysis

Lead the monthly financial consolidation, including balance sheet, P&L, and cash flow

Prepare, maintain and enhance the monthly consolidated financial reporting package for portfolio companies, ensuring accuracy and timeliness

Conduct standard and ad‑hoc financial analyses to evaluate performance and identify areas of improvement

Highlight trends, risks, and opportunities for portfolio growth and efficiency improvements from analyses

Accounting Oversight

Oversee and guide accounting personnel at portfolio companies to ensure financials are GAAP‑compliant

Serve as the company’s technical accounting expert, researching, interpreting, and implementing complex accounting guidance

Assist in improving and standardizing accounting processes across portfolio companies

Project manage year‑end audit procedures

Assist with quarterly tax estimates and year‑end tax filings

Strategic & Business Partnership

Provide meaningful commentary to highlight performance variances and trends for management, finance teams, investors, and other stakeholders

Lead process improvement, digital transformation, and integration projects, ensuring systems and reporting are scalable and efficient

Collaborate with FP&A team lead to design and implement KPI’s to monitor financial and operational performance at consolidated and individual portfolio company level

Assist with material preparation and presentation of quarterly board meetings

Assist with the material preparation and presentation of monthly management and investor updates

Leadership & Team Development

Supervise Finance management and their teams, fostering a culture of coaching, empowerment, and accountability

Mentor, develop, and grow future leaders, applying GRG’s leadership development principles including Managing Self, Managing Others, Managing Business

Model company values in decision‑making, communication, and cross‑functional collaboration

Mergers and Acquisitions Support

Assist on all phases of the acquisition process, with specific emphasis on due diligence, financial analysis, and integration planning

Contribute to evaluating strategic opportunities

Lead post‑acquisition integration accounting and finance workflows

Ensuring successful onboarding of new acquisitions

Budgeting, Forecasting, and Analysis

Collaborate with FP&A team lead to oversee budgeting and forecasting processes across the portfolio

Collaborate with FP&A team lead to build sales and profitability reports segmented by customer, division, location, and other key metrics and use data to guide leadership

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA strongly preferred)

7+ years in accounting and finance roles with increasing responsibility, preferably including:

Transaction Advisory (TAS) or Deal Services

Multi‑entity and multi‑system consolidations

Strong technical accounting foundation and ability to research/interpret complex areas

Exceptional Excel, data analysis, and financial reporting system proficiency

Knowledge to map multiple trial balances, building consolidations, preparing entity‑level financials, and interpreting accounting issues on the fly

Strong business acumen and ability to translate numbers into insights

Proven experience leading teams, developing talent, and fostering a high‑performance culture

Must possess a broad business perspective and have a ‘hands‑on’ and in‑depth understanding of company financials

Superior communication, presentation and influencing skills (at all levels)

Demonstrated competence in managing oneself, managing others, and managing a business.

Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with private investment backed platforms or multi‑location service businesses

MBA or advanced business degree
