Position Summary Following our expansion into Europe, we are seeking a Director of Sales, EU to build and lead our European go‑to‑market strategy, focusing on institutional issuers, asset managers, and digital‑first investment firms. This individual will play a key role in scaling Securitize’s presence across the EU and UK, driving adoption of regulated digital securities infrastructure and establishing strategic relationships with leading financial institutions.

Key Responsibilities

Build and execute Securitize’s European sales and partnership strategy.

Drive new business with asset managers, private equity firms, fund administrators, and digital asset issuers.

Serve as the primary commercial liaison with European clients and strategic partners.

Identify and prioritize key markets across the EU and UK for growth and licensing alignment.

Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline to achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets.

Structure and negotiate commercial agreements with clients and intermediaries.

Collaborate with product and operations teams to deliver successful token issuances and trading integrations.

Establish partnerships with distributors (institutionals both from TradFi and DeFi).

Partner with Legal and Compliance to ensure all European operations adhere to local regulatory requirements (MiFID II, AMLD 5/6, DLT Pilot).

Stay informed on regulatory and market developments to influence Securitize’s European product roadmap.

Work with Marketing to develop regional campaigns, events, and thought leadership initiatives.

Provide regular feedback to executive leadership on European market trends, client needs, and competitive positioning.

Required Skills & Experience

8–12 years of sales, business development, or relationship management experience in financial services, fintech, or capital markets.

Deep familiarity with European regulatory frameworks (MiFID II, DLT Pilot, AIFMD, etc.).

2 years in front‑office regulated roles providing information on investment products, investment services or ancillary services to customers according to MiFID II in an EU investment firm, bank, asset manager or similar entity.

Holder of a degree or certificates included in CNMV’s technical guide on knowledge of the personnel informing regulated products under MiFID II or equivalent.

Proven ability to originate, structure and close complex institutional deals.

Established network within private equity, asset management, or investment banking across Europe.

Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Fluency in English; additional European languages (French, German, Spanish) a strong plus.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with tokenization, digital asset custody, or blockchain‑based trading infrastructure.

Understanding of secondary market dynamics for private securities.

Experience scaling go‑to‑market efforts for a fintech or financial technology startup.

Advanced degree (MBA, MS Finance).
