The Director of Performance Marketing leads all paid and organic media efforts to drive qualified leads and enrollments. Previous agency experience or experience within a multi‑unit consumer services business is a plus. Able to work at a high level (strategic) and also "roll up the sleeves" to do tactical work is required. (If based in Dallas this role is hybrid, if outside of Dallas will be remote.)

This role requires a senior strategist who is also a strong tactical operator, capable of building and optimizing campaigns directly in‑platform. The director will guide the media vision, manage day‑to‑day execution, and ensure that all efforts support company growth targets in a fast‑paced, data‑driven environment.

Candidates with experience in private equity‑backed, multi‑location, or high‑growth organizations are strongly preferred. This position is best suited for someone who is comfortable wearing multiple hats and balancing both strategy and execution with equal strength.

Responsibilities Performance Media Strategy & Execution

Develop and implement full‑funnel paid media plans across Google Ads, Meta Ads, YouTube, TikTok, and other channels.

Build and optimize campaigns directly in‑platform, including account structure, keyword strategy, audience segmentation, bidding approaches, and testing frameworks.

Maintain campaign hygiene, including negative keyword management, naming conventions, tracking accuracy, and optimization cycles.

Lead all Google Ads efforts, including Search, Display, and Performance Max, with complete operational ownership.

Manage all paid social campaigns across Meta Ads Manager, including retargeting, lookalike modeling, and conversion‑focused structures.

Support expansion into new platforms or channel types as appropriate.

Analytics, Tracking, Reporting & Technology

Build accurate dashboards using GA4, Looker Studio, and other tools to consolidate cross‑channel performance data.

Define KPIs, evaluate results, diagnose performance shifts, and present clear recommendations to leadership.

Oversee tracking integrity through GTM, UTM frameworks, ListenLayer, CRM integrations, and cross‑domain measurement.

Provide market‑level insights and support to local teams, ensuring alignment across all locations.

Utilize advanced tools (e.g., Optmyzer) to improve efficiency and automation.

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of hands‑on performance marketing experience with a strong focus on Google Ads and Meta Ads.

Proven ability to lead strategy while directly managing campaign execution.

Strong analytical capability with experience building dashboards and synthesizing multi‑source data.

Experience in a performance‑focused, high‑growth, or private equity‑backed environment, with the ability to thrive in a small, high‑output team.

Experience in consumer services, multi‑location, or franchise‑based organizations.

Excellent communication skills and ability to present insights to leadership.

Able to work at a high level (strategic) and also "roll up the sleeves" to do tactical work.
