Prolific is seeking an experienced Vice President of Finance to lead financial strategy and accounting operations across our Indianapolis headquarters and portfolio of agency brands. This role is critical to supporting scalable growth, maintaining financial discipline, and aligning financial planning with the dynamic needs of the marketing and advertising industry. The VP of Finance will oversee all core financial functions—including forecasting, budgeting, cash flow management, and financial analysis—while serving as a strategic advisor to senior leadership. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in agency finance, including project‑based accounting, client profitability analysis, and resource planning. Expertise in treasury management, financial compliance, and banking relationships is essential, along with a track record of supporting executive decision‑making through data‑driven insights and strategic financial leadership. Financial Leadership & Strategy

Partner with the CEO and agency leaders to shape financial strategy and guide business decisions. Lead annual and monthly forecasting process. Lead monthly financial performance reviews and KPI reporting. Accounting, Reporting & Controls

Oversee consolidated financial statements and ensure consistent accounting across all entities. Manage monthly close, reporting accuracy, and compliance with GAAP. Coordinate external audit, tax, and compliance requirements with the CPA firm. Maintain internal controls and oversee the accounting department. Cash Management & Banking

Manage cash flow, debt facilities, and compliance with loan covenants. Maintain strong banking relationships and oversee borrowing base and credit line activity. Optimize working capital, liquidity, and capital structure. Investor Relations & Governance

Support fundraising and capital transactions, maintaining investor records and cap tables. Liaise with outside counsel on corporate governance and transaction matters. Mergers & Acquisitions

Lead financial due diligence, valuation modeling, and deal structuring. Coordinate integration and post‑acquisition reporting. Operational Support

Partner with agency leadership to analyze client profitability, pricing, and staffing models. Drive process automation, systems integration, and reporting efficiency. Requirements

10+ years of experience in senior finance roles, preferably in marketing, media, or professional services. Strong understanding of agency P&Ls, project accounting, and consolidated reporting. Proven experience managing bank relationships, investors, and M&A processes. CPA and/or MBA preferred. Seniority level
