Revenue Accountant (Hybrid - Sunnyvale, CA)
We are seeking a Revenue Accountant on a contract basis to support our Customer's business needs. This role is
hybrid
( (3 days on-site and 2 days remote) ) in Sunnyvale, CA.
Our Customer is a corporation that develops, manufactures, and markets robotic products designed to improve clinical outcomes of patients through minimally invasive surgery. Founded in 1995, their goal was to create innovative, robotic‑assisted systems that help empower doctors and hospitals to make surgery less invasive than an open approach. Working with the top medical professionals, they continue to develop new, minimally invasive surgical platforms and future diagnostic tools to help solve complex healthcare challenges around the world.
Please note that our customer is currently not considering applicants from the following locations: Alabama, Arkansas, Delaware, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, Missouri, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, and Tennessee.
Responsibilities
Perform revenue close activities, including executing journal entries, processing contract reviews, completing account reconciliations, preparing management reporting, and producing supplemental monthly reporting schedules
Conduct balance sheet and income statement variance analyses in accordance with the monthly close schedule
Review and process lease and purchase contracts, ensuring system inputs and outputs align accurately with contract terms
Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, internal procedures, and U.S. GAAP for all assigned areas
Qualifications
Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance
2–4+ years accounting or revenue experience
Strong U.S. GAAP and ASC 606 knowledge
Month‑end close and variance analysis experience
Contract review skills (revenue, leases, purchases)
ERP experience (SAP preferred)
Advanced Excel skills
Strong analytical and communication skills
CPA or public accounting experience (nice-to-have)
