Our client, a prestigious AmLaw 50 law firm, is seeking talented Associate Attorneys to join their Technology Transactions Practice Group. This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated intellectual property and commercial transactions for technology companies across all stages of growth—from emerging startups to global market leaders.
Candidate Profile
JD from a top‑tier law school with an excellent academic record
Active Bar Admission in the relevant jurisdiction, in good standing
3–6 years of substantive experience in intellectual property and commercial transactions
Demonstrated experience structuring, drafting, and negotiating agreements such as licensing, development, distribution, services, and strategic partnering
Background advising on IP aspects of mergers and acquisitions (M&A), financing transactions, and public offerings
Technical or science background beneficial, but not required
Strong communication, drafting, and interpersonal skills
Entrepreneurial, self‑motivated, and able to manage multiple workstreams in a fast‑paced environment
Key Responsibilities
Structure, draft, and negotiate a wide range of IP and commercial agreements, including licensing, development, distribution, service, and collaboration deals
Advise clients on intellectual property matters relating to M&A, venture financings, and public offerings
Support technology companies on transactional, operational, and strategic IP issues across all phases of growth
Collaborate with cross‑disciplinary teams, including corporate, privacy, regulatory, and litigation colleagues, to provide comprehensive client support
Develop client relationships and contribute to the growth of an established and dynamic national practice

Competitive Salary: $260,000 – $390,000, commensurate with experience
