Position Overview
Intellyk Inc. is seeking a DevOps Engineer to lead CI/CD pipeline development, automation, and production support across Windows and Linux environments.
Location Boston MA or New Jersey (Onsite Day one)
Responsibilities
Identify and oversee technical solutions for source control, build, deployment automation, continuous integration, and environment monitoring.
Develop and evangelize best practices for DevOps, CI/CD, API management, and networking.
Provide technical direction to scrum teams, assist with proof of concepts, and build template implementations.
Participate in architecture and design discussions, and design automation templates for infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and change management.
Lead research on new tools and technology solutions, build consensus, and plan introduction of cost‑justifiable tooling to improve the SDLC pipeline.
Continuously optimize and build a comprehensive architecture/strategy for supporting applications in production.
Scope work includes build, machine configuration, test infrastructure, and virtual machine deployment.
Provide level‑3 support for the production environment.
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum 10+ years of hands‑on experience as a DevOps/Build/Deployment Engineer.
Experience with Agile/Scrum, continuous integration, continuous delivery, and related tools.
Hands‑on production experience deploying and troubleshooting applications in Windows and Linux.
Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, and other deployment scripting languages.
Experience with CI/CD deployment for Microsoft technologies (IIS, TFS/VSTS, Git/Pro‑Git, Octopus Deploy, and TeamCity preferred).
Highly proficient in configuration management (Puppet, Ansible, Chef, or similar).
Excellent understanding of containerization, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Strong knowledge of micro‑services architecture, design patterns, scalability, automation, resiliency, high availability, and disaster recovery.
Solid understanding of networking, load balancing, caching, security, configuration, and certificate management.
Working experience with Consul, NGINX, and Redis.
Experience with large enterprise suites such as BPM, CRM, portals, and content management is preferred.
