About the Role Support product designs in Siemens NX environment, review battery requirements, support prototyping, assembly, and testing, and perform statistical tolerance and GD&T analyses.
Responsibilities
Support product designs in Siemens NX environment for 3D modeling and 2D drafting.
Review battery requirements with product engineering teams to find the best options for product volume, weight, and run time.
Support product prototyping, assembly, and testing.
Create statistical tolerance, functional dimensioning, and geometric tolerancing analyses.
Qualifications
BS in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics or equivalent experience.
3+ years of mechanical engineering and product design experience.
Proficient with Siemens NX for 3D modeling and 2D drafting.
Experience with PCB/flex design.
Good understanding of Design for Manufacturability (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), statistical tolerance analysis techniques, functional dimensioning, and GD&T.
Fluent in written and spoken English.
Must Have
Background in Mechanical Engineering: A degree in Mechanical Engineering is a fundamental requirement for this role.
Experience with Consumer Electronics: Familiarity with consumer electronics is essential.
Proficiency with Siemens NX for 3D Modeling and 2D Drafting: Proficiency is critical.
Nice to Have
Experience Working with Battery Design: Experience with battery design is highly desirable.
Good Understanding of Assembly and Testing: Knowledge of assembly and testing processes is valuable.
