Your Main Responsibilities As an Existing Installation (EI) Sales Account Manager you will cultivate relationships with customers to drive sales for elevator and escalator services—including maintenance, repairs, and upgrades. You will ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, identify and pursue sales opportunities, manage existing and new customer accounts, and retain customers. You will act as a liaison between customers and Schindler to build strong, long‑term relationships and leverage industry knowledge to achieve sales targets.

Essential Functions

Customer Account Management: Build and manage favorable client relationships within a designated sales territory to secure and renew service agreements. Handle customer inquiries and ensure satisfactory resolution with a focus on revenue generation. Meet regularly with clients to understand their business requirements and develop solutions.

Communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and achievement of sales objectives.

Collaborate daily with the Field Superintendent and technicians to drive lead generation and ensure an excellent total customer experience from initiation through delivery.

Sales & Opportunity Identification: Identify and pursue sales opportunities through key customer contacts and industry information. Qualify customer needs to secure profitable solutions leveraging company products and services. Introduce new technology and associated services to customers, clearly illustrating the value.

Negotiation & Strategy: Negotiate contract terms favorable to the company while delivering on customer requirements. Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with internal product strategies and competitive market conditions with minimal supervision.

Documentation & Compliance: Prepare estimates and proposals, maintain accurate customer records in accordance with procedures, and ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.

What You Bring

Bachelor's Degree

2 years B2B sales experience in the elevator or related industry

5–10 years of Customer Account Management experience, proficient in building and managing client relationships and handling challenging inquiries.

5–10 years of Negotiation & Strategy experience, able to negotiate contract terms and develop sales strategies that align with customers’ needs and Schindler values.

5–10 years of Sales & Closing skills, proficient in closing deals and securing agreements.

Effective communication skills with customers and internal stakeholders.

Leadership experience, guiding and supporting junior sales account managers.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and presentation skills.

Strong negotiation, objection handling, and closing skills with a proven sales track record.

Excellent time‑management, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities.

Motivated, resilient, and customer‑focused mindset aligned with Schindler’s values.

Experience with SAP and a results‑driven mindset.

Ability to handle a mix of office and fieldwork, with flexibility for travel.
