Role & Responsibilities Barrows is seeking a highly organized, strategic, and relationship driven Senior Account Manager to lead day‑to‑day client partnerships and oversee the delivery of integrated retail and commerce programs across multiple brands and categories. This role is essential in connecting brand goals with powerful in‑store and digital retail execution ensuring projects are insight‑led, creatively strong, and flawlessly delivered.
In addition to bringing a killer attitude and energy, this individual must be able to:
Client Leadership & Strategic Partnership
Serve as the primary day‑to‑day point of contact for clients, managing needs from initial brief through final delivery
Translate client goals into clear project briefs rooted in insight, brand strategy, and retail context
Anticipate client and internal needs, proactively surfacing solutions and keeping all stakeholders aligned
Participate in planning sessions and contribute thoughtful, insight‑driven ideas to strengthen program outcomes
Creative & Cross‑Functional Leadership
Manage creative projects end‑to‑end: define scope, lead timelines, coordinate cross‑functional teams, and ensure strong communication throughout
Work closely with Strategy, Creative, Design, and external partners to deliver integrated programs
Ensure briefs and deliverables meet the highest standards of clarity, accuracy, and creative quality
Operational Excellence & Project Ownership
Oversee multiple concurrent projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and deliverables are tightly managed
Demonstrate strong attention to detail, including proofing work and validating accuracy across all outputs
Proactively identify risks or roadblocks and problem‑solve with minimal oversight
Uphold operational excellence, ensuring all work is delivered on time, on budget, and aligned with client expectations
Team Contribution
Foster collaboration across teams, contributing to a positive, high‑performance culture
Help refine processes and ways of working that elevate Barrows’ overall delivery
Qualifications
7+ years of experience in a marketing agency, retailer, or digital commerce environment
Experience managing retail, shopper, or trade activation programs
Strong understanding of brand, retail, and shopper dynamics
Exceptional project management skills with the ability to lead multiple workstreams simultaneously
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with confidence leading client discussions
Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and proactive in solving problems
Collaborative, solutions‑oriented, and comfortable in a fast‑paced environment
Passion for brands and the retail environments in which they operate
Ability to work in the office 3–4 days per week
Salary & Benefits The salary range for this role is $85,000 to $110,000*
*exact compensation will be determined based on individual experience
