We invite you to join Crowe as a Senior Tax Manager in our Financial Services Tax Services team, focusing on the Banking, FinTech, and Digital Currency spaces.
Location: Sacramento, CA Salary: $106,500.00 – $267,500.00 per year
Hybrid preferred; open to remote location options.
Job Description Crowe’s Financial Institutions practice delivers tax solutions to a range of clients in the Capital Markets/Partnership domain. The successful candidate will play a leading role in developing high‑quality tax services, ensuring client relationships are positive and impactful, and helping expand our service offerings.
Responsibilities
Conduct tax research and provide guidance and consultation to clients.
Identify and implement tax‑planning and tax‑savings strategies.
Collaborate on large client projects and manage multiple engagements simultaneously.
Foster and maintain client tax relationships through deliverables and a consultative approach.
Mentor and develop interns, staff, and senior staff, promoting a collaborative team environment.
Required Qualifications
Previous experience with operational partnerships (required).
Previous banking experience preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required); Master’s in Taxation preferred.
CPA, JD, or EA credential (required).
Minimum of seven (7) years’ experience in public accounting, large CPA firm, or corporate/public blend.
Strong ability to grow and sustain client relationships.
Excellent project management, time management, written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in tax research.
