Assistant Professor, Biology & Biomedical Engineering, College of Arts & Sciences
Boston University’s College of Arts and Sciences, College of Engineering, and Biological Design Center (BDC) invite applications for a tenure‑track assistant professor with a primary appointment split equally between Biomedical Engineering (College of Engineering) and Biology (College of Arts & Sciences). The faculty member will work in the BDC, contributing to research on synthetic tissues, regenerative medicine, organoids, and mechanobiology.
The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. in a relevant field, a strong record of independent research, and the potential to secure external funding. Responsibilities include developing a research program that attracts significant funding, teaching graduate and undergraduate courses, and fostering interdisciplinary collaboration across the university.
Salary Grade:
$120,000–$130,000 per year.

Full‑time, regular, tenure‑track.

Boston, Massachusetts.
