Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
RCM Healthcare Services is actively seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide support to IEP students in the Hawaii school district for the upcoming school year.
Pay Range ¥25.00/hr – ¥33.00/hr (based on skills and experience)
Responsibilities
Assist students, in a one-to‑one relationship, to meet the goals expressed in the student's Individualized Education Program (IEP), under the direction of an LBA, when a Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP) is in place.
Implement the student's IEP and BIP using ABA strategies, with at least 90% fidelity, as verified by performance checks completed by the LBA.
Assist teachers and collaborate with educational and behavioral teams for implementation of classroom and school routines.
Accurately collect and graph data.
Utilize QBS Safety Care de‑escalation strategies and physical management as necessary for safety.
Attend and participate in individual and group supervisions, ensuring that at least 5% of hours worked as an RBT are supervised in compliance with BACB regulations.
Maintain reliable schedule and communicate any changes promptly.
Qualifications
Active RBT certification.
Associate's degree or higher (or equivalent experience).
Empathy and understanding of developmental stages.
Ability to employ ABA strategies effectively.
Physical Requirements
Active positioning required, working closely with students in multiple settings.
Students may test physical boundaries; the role may require physical intervention.
