Join our Washington, DC office as a
Sustainability Advisor
and help leading companies navigate sustainability risks, disclosures, and strategy. You’ll work closely with proprietary data, advanced software platforms, and a collaborative team of experts to deliver high-impact advisory services across a range of sustainability topics.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with a sector‑focused team to address key sustainability issues across industries.
Deliver advisory services across core offerings, including:
Benchmarking Intelligence: Assess clients’ sustainability performance using investor‑facing data, peer comparisons, and disclosure analysis.
Materiality Assessments: Conduct stakeholder‑informed, data‑driven assessments aligned with CSRD, IFRS, and other global standards.
Climate Solutions: Support climate risk assessments, carbon accounting, and governance strategies using software and advisory tools.
Sustainability Reporting: Guide clients through the reporting lifecycle, from double materiality to audit‑ready CSRD disclosures using AI‑powered platforms.
Manage a diverse client portfolio with proactive engagement and responsive support.
Build trusted relationships with senior executives, providing tailored advice aligned with their strategic goals.
Monitor evolving sustainability regulations, frameworks, and investor expectations to inform client strategy.
Create and present client deliverables, including benchmarking reports, materiality findings, and board‑ready presentations.
Contribute to thought leadership through whitepapers, webinars, and industry events.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Sustainability, or a related field.
1–3 years of experience in sustainability reporting, strategy, consulting, or client‑facing roles.
Technical & Subject Matter Expertise
Strong understanding of business operations, including strategy development, organizational dynamics, and stakeholder communication.
Familiarity with sustainability reporting frameworks and standards such as ESRS, ISSB/IFRS SDS, GRI, CDP, TCFD, and TNFD.
Insight into climate‑related business risks and mitigation strategies, including physical and transition risks.
Experience with sustainability data platforms, reporting software, or ESG ratings is a plus.
Proficiency in Excel and comfort with quantitative analysis; familiarity with SQL or similar tools is beneficial.
Ability to connect sustainability topics to broader business priorities such as risk management, financial performance, and regulatory compliance.

The role is based in Washington, DC. Washington, DC: A modern, open‑floor workspace on Rhode Island Avenue in Northwest DC, with an onsite gym and convenient metro access.
Base salary : $70,000 – $90,000 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and level of education. The position is bonus or sales incentive eligible.
