Tulane University School of Medicine is seeking a dedicated Allergist/Clinical Immunologist physician to join our faculty. This full‑time position offers a dynamic mix of clinical care, teaching, and research in a collaborative academic setting.
Clinical Work Sites
East Jefferson General Hospital – LCMC Health: an academic and community health center located in Metairie, LA, a 420‑bed facility with both inpatient and outpatient care, including the East Jefferson Tulane Multi‑Specialty Clinic.
Key Responsibilities
Provide outpatient care in allergy and immunology (minimum 8 half‑day clinics per week).
Participate in consult services and provide care to patients with and without fellows in training.
Supervise and mentor fellows‑in‑training in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
Provide educational activities—including giving periodic Medical Grand Rounds lectures to faculty, fellows, residents, and students.
Participate in quarterly evaluations of fellows in training.
Participate in quality initiatives and improvement projects.
Participate with fellows in research opportunities or self‑directed research.
Comply promptly with billing, documentation, credentialing, and other administrative requirements.
Engage in service responsibilities, including monthly attendance at faculty meetings and participation in University, School of Medicine, Departmental, or Section committee work.
These responsibilities may vary from time to time and will be assigned by the Section Chief of Allergy and Clinical Immunology.
