As a Data Scientist, you’re excited at the prospect of unlocking the secrets held by a data set, and you’re fascinated by the possibilities presented by IoT, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. In an increasingly connected world, massive amounts of structured and unstructured data open new opportunities. This position is located in the Washington Metro area. Responsibilities

On our team, you’ll use your leadership skills and data science expertise to create real‑world impact. You’ll work closely with clients to understand their questions and needs, and then dig into their data‑rich environments to find the pieces of their information puzzle. You’ll guide and mentor your team as you oversee the development of algorithms and systems, using the right combination of tools and frameworks to turn sets of disparate data points into objective answers. As a technical leader, you’ll identify new opportunities to use data science solutions to help your clients meet their toughest challenges, ultimately providing a deep understanding of the data and how it can be used. Qualifications

10+ years of experience in a data science field, including mathematics, statistics, or programming, modeling data with a multitude of data sets 2+ years of experience in a leadership role such as project manager, task lead, or lead analyst in a data science field Experience with statistical and general‑purpose programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL Experience presenting data findings and recommendations to clients and stakeholders Experience applying AI or ML techniques, predictive or forecasting data models, classification models, or natural language processing Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with tight deadlines Ability to develop custom data visualization such as graphs, tables, charts, or dashboards Ability to develop solutions to automate data processes and analytical reports through scripts, RPA, or BI tools Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or Statistics Nice to Have

Experience with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Experience with Databricks, Qlik, PowerBI, and PowerAutomate Possession of excellent quantitative skills, including statistical analysis, process design, and data management of large data sets DHS Suitability Compensation
