St. Peters Health Partners seeks a full‑time Inpatient Neurologist to join the established Neurology Department at St. Peters Hospital, a 400‑bed community hospital in Albany, New York. This is an exceptional opportunity to be part of a physician‑led, mission‑driven organization.
Position Highlights
Flexible scheduling options: 7 on/7 off or 14 on/14 off
Inpatient focus only – no outpatient or clinic responsibilities
Located at St. Peters Hospital, a designated Primary Stroke Center
Access to a broad network of general and specialty neurology practices for seamless patient referrals
Broad range of inpatient neurology cases including stroke, epilepsy, back pain, brain tumors, dementia, neuropathies, and movement disorders
Qualifications
Board Certified in Neurology
Fellowship training welcome but not required (general neurology focus)
Excellent clinical and communication skills
Commitment to high‑quality, team‑based care
Recruitment Package
Base guaranteed salary of $350,000 per year
Starting bonus: $25,000
Retention bonus: $15,000 at the 2‑year anniversary
Public Service Loan Forgiveness
Excellent benefits: health, vision, dental insurance
Paid malpractice coverage, including post‑SPHP employment tail coverage
5 days of CME time & $4,500 expense allowance
403(b) retirement program with employer matching
Relocation assistance available
