Job Description The Sr. Director of Immunology Strategy will play a critical role in advancing our immunology commercial strategy, driving sales effectiveness, and supporting leadership on strategic initiatives. This role is essential in ensuring that we have the right capabilities, resources, and strategies across our immunology brands and upcoming launches. The individual will work closely with cross‑functional teams to support growth, launch strategies, and contribute to the overall success of our immunology franchise. The role will also manage one direct report, a Sales Planning lead. This role reports to the Head of U.S. Immunology.
Key Responsibilities
Support the development and execution of immunology commercial strategy, focusing on ensuring the right priorities and building the necessary capabilities to enable
Support our launch teams with strategic guidance and drive ad‑hoc, critical initiatives that enhance our launches in Immunology
Define Immunology portfolio priorities with Marketing, Sales, Medical, Access, and Finance
Manage and execute ad‑hoc projects that align with the strategic goals of the immunology franchise
Support opportunity assessments for new disease areas and other lifecycle management initiatives, providing insights and recommendations
Work with Sales, Market Access, Commercial Insights & Operations, Marketing, and other cross‑functional leads to develop and execute high priority initiatives
Sales Strategy And Operations Support
Provide strategic and operational support to the sales team, ensuring alignment with immunology objectives
Provide support and strategic input into how we track performance, opportunities, and the impact of activities
Support targeting and alignments for commercial field roles, ensuring effective deployment of resources
Leadership Team Support
Manage Immunology Leadership Team (LT) meetings with agenda setting, preparation of materials, facilitation of the meetings, and follow‑up activities
In partnership with other leaders, manage key team meetings (e.g., quarterly Immunology Town Halls, annual POAs)
Foster clear communication and coordination among various field roles and cross‑functional teams to maximize impact and minimize confusion
Play a key role in evolving the culture within the immunology franchise, fostering collaboration and innovation
Lead development approach to enhance our Sobi Immunology presence and attract talent
Support initiatives (field collateral and digital engagement) to enhance Sobi's perception and awareness in Immunology across professional associations, key customers, and in coordination with advocacy and policy partner
Program Leadership
Lead or support cross‑functional PMOs focused on launch preparation and other business transitions, as needed, to ensure seamless operations, change management and value creation
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; advanced degree (MBA or medical) preferred
10+ years working with/in Biopharma with a mix of direct Biopharma and top‑tier consulting experience
Mix of strategy (corporate/brand/portfolio) and operational experience with significant U.S. market exposure
Launch and lifecycle experience in specialty/rare disease settings
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with experience in cross‑functional collaboration and leadership
Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop clear insights and recommendations
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously, with a focus on achieving strategic goals
Highly developed organizational agility and “can‑do” approach
Experience working closely with executive management in various work situations
Proficiency with PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel, AI Chat (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini) and other reporting and tracking tools (e.g., Veeva CRM and Tableau)
Ability to travel up to 30%

The base salary range for this role is
$207,000 – $260,000 . Each individual offer will be determined based on several factors, including your experience, qualifications, and location. Additionally, this role is eligible for both short‑term and long‑term bonuses, as outlined in the plan details.
