As a Principal Product Manager for Search, you will partner with a passionate group of globally distributed engineers, external customers, and internal stakeholders such as Sales, Product Marketing, Business Development, Legal, Marketing, and Finance to make customers wildly successful and drive outsized business growth. In This Role, You Can Expect To
Define and execute end‑to‑end vision and strategy for your product. Conduct analysis to inform your product roadmap and prioritize the product backlog. Develop and refine key metrics and mechanisms to build the right product and continuously validate your strategic direction. Explore and implement new use cases that address customer pain points and unlock new revenue opportunities in partnership with engineering and the broader organization. Own pricing and packaging of your product as a standalone SKU, including sales enablement, marketing, customer trials, and partnership opportunities. Engage customers via video conversations, emails, and in‑person visits (10% travel) to understand their needs and validate proposed solutions. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align product goals and delivery phases with overall business objectives. Become the expert and point of contact for your product for internal and external questions, feedback, and requests. What’s Important For This Role
Over 10 years of product leadership experience guiding API, SDK, and data products through full discovery, development, launch, and adoption in the B2B space. Demonstrated technical depth with the ability to break down complex concepts and communicate them clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences. Strong customer orientation focused on understanding user problems and delivering thoughtful, intuitive product experiences. Data‑driven decision maker with advanced analytical skills and a track record of using evidence to evaluate product quality and inform next steps. Skilled at prioritizing tradeoffs and driving teams toward delivering meaningful and immediate value for customers. Strong written and verbal communicator with the ability to convey complex ideas concisely across broad audiences, including FAQs, roadmaps, and business cases. Proven ownership mindset with the ability to independently build, execute, and iterate on product strategies with minimal direction. Ability to simplify complex challenges and identify the most efficient, high‑impact solutions for customers. Go‑to‑market leader with experience owning pricing and packaging and developing strategies that successfully scale product adoption. Nice To Have
