Software Engineering Manager
OASYS, INC., a leading‑edge government contractor, is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to support our Space customer in Huntsville, Alabama and Sunnyvale, California.
OASYS, INC. is seeking an experienced Software Manager to be part of a team developing missile defense technology that could forever change our ability to deter and respond to adversity. In this role, you will lead software engineering teams through the software development lifecycle following the program Software Development Plan (SDP) to include requirements analysis, object‑oriented analysis & design, code & unit test, integration, and support to formal test/delivery.
Responsibilities Lead software engineering teams, manage projects, and provide leadership of people. Develop software, lead development efforts, and manage projects from inception through delivery.
Basic Qualifications
Ability to work with multi‑disciplined teams
Experience working embedded software development
Experience leading software development teams
Experience managing software development projects
Experience with Earned Value Reporting
Desired Skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience with Agile/DevSecOps
Experience working with US Government Customers
Experience presenting formal software materials to customer audiences
Security Clearance Statement This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Security Clearance Level Secret
Ability to Work Remotely Onsite Full‑time
Schedule for this Position 9x80, every other Friday off
Pay Rate The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $134,000 - $236,325. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. OASYS, INC. considers factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
