Key Responsibilities

Lead the Automation Strategy: Architect, design, and implement a robust, scalable, and maintainable automation framework using Java, Selenium WebDriver, and modern testing frameworks (e.g., TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber/Gherkin).

AI Integration & Innovation: Drive the research, adoption, and integration of AI/ML tools (e.g., self‑healing locators, visual testing platforms, GenAI for test data/case generation) to dramatically improve test efficiency and coverage.

Framework Mastery & Tooling Guidance: Serve as the subject‑matter expert on current industry automation frameworks and tools, evaluate new technologies, and recommend strategic tooling to optimize testing processes and infrastructure.

Framework Governance & Maintenance: Own the quality, performance, and maintenance of the core automation codebase, implementing coding standards and conducting code reviews for test automation scripts.

Mentorship and Coaching: Provide technical leadership, coaching, and mentorship to junior and mid‑level QA Engineers on automation best practices, advanced techniques, and framework usage.

Strategic CI/CD Integration: Determine the optimal placement and execution strategy for automated test suites within the Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment pipeline (Jenkins, CodePipeline) to ensure appropriate gatekeeping, fast feedback loops, and support continuous delivery.

Collaboration & Planning: Partner with Development, DevOps, and Product teams to define strategic automation roadmaps, non‑functional testing goals (performance, load), and technical solutions.

Test Management: Define and enforce best practices for test case management, defect tracking, and reporting within Jira, maintaining clear traceability from requirements to automated tests.

Ideal Candidate

7+ years of progressive experience in Software Quality Assurance and Test Automation, with 3+ years in a Lead Automation or SDET role.

Expert‑level proficiency in Java and object‑oriented programming, mandatory for building automation solutions.

Deep expertise with Selenium WebDriver and architecting complex, data‑driven, and scalable automation frameworks.

Hands‑on experience incorporating AI/ML tools or techniques to enhance test automation (e.g., self‑healing, visual AI, AI‑assisted optimization).

Strong experience with CI/CD pipeline implementation and configuration using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or similar.

Expertise in BDD frameworks (Cucumber/Gherkin) for clear and collaborative test development.

Experience with testing in a cloud environment (AWS).

Advanced SQL skills for data validation/backend testing; experience with tools like Snowflake or other cloud data warehouses is highly desirable.

Prior experience working with healthcare data (claims, member, or provider datasets) is preferred.

Salary Base salary range: $145,000–160,000 per year.

Must live in and be eligible to work in the United States.

Information Security Roles and Responsibilities All staff at Arine are expected to be part of its Information Security Management Program and undergo periodic training on Information Security Awareness and HIPAA guidelines. Each user is responsible for maintaining a secure working environment and following all policies and procedures. Training must be completed before access is granted for their specific role within Arine.
