We are looking for a team player to join our Design and Product Development team in Los Angeles, CA. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing product strategy, managing the entire product life cycle from concept to production, while collaborating with design, technical design, merchandising, sourcing and production teams. Responsibilities include managing pre‑production development to include pattern making, marker and grading, sewing, and the in‑studio sample room; maintaining the apparel line calendar, ensuring quality, margin and brand standards across all collections; managing budgets and strategies to align with brand vision; and designing samples for proprietary, seasonal clothing collections for five seasons annually.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in product development, fashion design, or a related field is preferred.
Five (5)+ years of direct experience managing a product development apparel studio and team. Apparel experience is required.
Knowledge of garment construction, fabric development, costing, and global sourcing.
Experience with product development software and tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Gerber systems, Gerber Marker and Grading.
Strong vendor relationships and proven ability to meet deadlines and work with cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced environment.
