Junior Enterprise Operations Center Specialist

100% ONSITE, New Jersey Ave Washington DC 20590 (5 days per week) Start Date - 1/19/2026 Per Federal contract U.S. Citizenship or Green Card required. Must be able to pass enhanced background screen (criminal, financial, drug) for Public Trust clearance. W-2 ONLY $32.19/hr (or $64K with benefits). Job Summary

This position is in Washington, DC at the Department of Transportation (DOT) Headquarters’ Building. The EOC operates 24/7 including Federal Holidays. Responsibilities include event & availability monitoring, responding to automated tool alerts, proactive console monitoring of infrastructure and systems, and taking corrective actions as defined. Top Qualifications, Skills, Experience or Certifications

Early analysis; contact POCs for confirmation of event. Troubleshoot affected CI – ping, log into router/switch to check logs and interface status. Escalate – Contact and liaise with DOT Tier III teams, open and assign ITTSM tickets. Communicate – Generate correspondence required for incident management, notifications, follow up with modal POCs regarding cyber incidents, service degradations, outages, daily operational status reports, and COE Morning summary report. Critical Incident Management – Initiate the Critical Incident Management process and anchor Incident Response Bridge process; take notes and update communications. Document Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for incidents, gather/process info, assign sequential RCA number. Act as on-site troubleshooting and repair support for ExecHelp and Tier III teams during off-hours. Knowledge Management and Documentation – maintain POC and site information for remote sites, create/update SOPs for IMC processes. Generate and distribute daily and weekly reports. Education Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Job Role Specific Requirements

Perform day-to-day activities to monitor systems for events or alerts. Coordinate and manage resolution of events and alerts. Have a minimum of 2 years of related experience providing support to an enterprise operation center, monitoring and managing enterprise systems and networks using advanced technologies and tools. Preferred Skills and Qualifications

Familiarity with ServiceNow. Familiarity with BMC Remedy. Note: Candidate must be a U.S. citizen or green card holder who has resided in the U.S. for at least 3 years and has the ability to obtain a public trust clearance. Ref: #850-Rockville (ALTA IT)
