Summary As a Senior Business Analyst - Pharmacy at Gainwell, you can contribute your skills as we harness the power of technology to help our clients improve the health and well-being of the members they serve — a community’s most vulnerable. Acts as a key liaison between clients, stakeholders, and technical teams to define requirements, improve business processes, and ensure successful delivery of pharmacy-related projects. Focuses on identifying opportunities, developing specifications, and validating results to meet client objectives.

Your role in our mission

Maintain an understanding of current business issues, objectives, and strategies within Gainwell Technology (GWT) Pharmacy and recognize opportunities to help solve problems and enhance business capabilities.

Work in partnership on engagements with key business stakeholders in a discussion on business opportunities.

Perform business analyst duties and activities for client requests and provide guidance and support to teammates as needed

Be a knowledgeable bridge between clients, project team members and technical staff to define, document and share business requirements and expected impact

Work with the client to develop business specs at the start of a technical project

Analyze, plan, design, document or make recommendations to improve business processes to support client’s goals

Ensure accuracy and verify that all requirements have been met by validating results

What we're looking for

6 or more years of experience in a relevant position with 3 or more years of Medicaid and Medicare experience preferred

Pharmacy experience is preferred

Managed Care experience is a plus

Knowledge of programming concepts such as configuration and development

Advanced knowledge in analytical software such as Microsoft PowerBI or equivalent tools

Proficient analytical skills and SQL query experience to fulfill client requests

Strong client communication skills translating client needs to actionable objectives

Strong analytical and business process re-engineering skills

Strong executive presence and communication skills to deliver messages to business leaders, clients and technical personnel

What you should expect in this role

Fully remote opportunity from most US locations

Office hours 8a - 5p eastern or central time

The pay range for this position is $69,400.00 - $99,200.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
