Lead Group Product Manager, Generative AI, Google Cloud US base salary range for this full‑time position is $227,000–$320,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.

About the Job At Google, we put our users first and constantly innovate. In this role you will work cross‑functionally to guide products from conception to launch, breaking down complex problems for continuous product development. You will partner with creative engineers, designers, marketers, and other stakeholders to evolve and transform Google Cloud Platform (GCP) products, driving Generative AI‑driven experiences and solutions. The AI & Infrastructure team is redefining what’s possible by delivering AI and infrastructure at unmatched scale, efficiency, reliability, and velocity.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

10 years of experience in product management or a related technical role.

5 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end‑to‑end, 0 to 1).

5 years of experience in people management, with technical leadership.

Experience with the domain area of Generative AI or Large Language Models.

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree in a technology or business related field.

7 years of experience working cross‑functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales, finance, and other stakeholders.

7 years of experience in a business function or role such as strategic marketing, business operations, or consulting.

5 years of experience in a role preparing and delivering technical presentations to senior leadership.

5 years of experience in software development or engineering.

Knowledge of, or continued interest in, building accessibility best practices and the curiosity to incorporate accessibility into product development.

Responsibilities

Own PRDs by overseeing collaboration with partner teams (e.g., engineers, PgMs, UX) during product design.

Own and oversee the definition of product roadmaps.

Own and secure buy‑in for a product vision that identifies, defines, and supports the overall product narrative and direction.

Oversee validation of market size and opportunity (user‑based, strategic, revenue).

Lead the team through defining, collecting, and tracking appropriate product or business metrics, both quantitative and qualitative for new or existing products or business ventures.
