About the Position As a Senior Project Manager, you will provide overall administrative and technical direction for large electrical projects ($20M+) in one or more of our sectors: Alternative Energy, Automation, Civil, Power & Line, Technology, Healthcare, and Entertainment. You will support technical and engineering needs, and hold profit and loss responsibility for projects.

Day in the Life

Oversee construction and design to ensure compliance with design, National Electric Code, budget, and schedule.

Coordinate communication between internal, external, general contractors, subcontractors, superintendents, and union officials.

Authorize and approve project staff transactions and staff hiring decisions.

Direct planning, scheduling, and engineering functions.

Participate in estimating, bid proposals, and procurement approvals.

Ensure OSHA requirements and client policies are met.

Maintain project documentation and logs.

Support customer maintenance and sales/marketing.

Understand labor agreements and project standards.

Minimum Qualifications

BS in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or IBEW Apprentice Training Certificate (or equivalent experience).

Superior written and verbal communication skills.

Outstanding interpersonal and team leadership skills.

Knowledge of National Electrical Code.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Willingness to relocate temporarily to jobsite as required.

Experience with Accubid (a plus).

Experience with Bluebeam Revu (a plus).

Travel

Travel to project sites is required.
