Position Summary
The Clinical Systems Adoption Specialist is a critical member of the Provider Experience & Digital Adoption Team (PEDAT), reporting to the Senior Manager of PEDAT. This role supports providers across BMC Main, South, Brighton, and Ambulatory sites by enhancing the clinician experience, reducing EHR‑related burden, and driving adoption and optimization of Epic and related clinical systems.
The Specialist serves as a provider‑facing Epic expert who delivers targeted support and training, collaborates with clinical and IT leaders, and leverages data (e.g., Epic Signal) to achieve measurable improvements in efficiency, documentation quality, and provider satisfaction. While at‑the‑elbow support is an important component, the role is equally focused on advancing adoption, developing optimization strategies, and sustaining long‑term efficiency gains.

Essential Responsibilities / Duties Adoption & Optimization
Partner with providers to improve efficiency and reduce EHR‑related burden through data‑driven optimization strategies.
Use Epic Signal and other tools to identify workflow challenges and recommend actionable improvements.
Collaborate with IT/Clinical Informatics on solutions that align with system priorities, value‑based care, and regulatory compliance.
Provider Support & Training
Deliver personalized 1:1 and small group sessions, reinforcing training and supporting adoption of new Epic features.
Provide targeted at‑the‑elbow support during go‑lives, upgrades, and optimization cycles — balancing immediate assistance with long‑term adoption goals.
Contribute to the development of training materials, tip sheets, and best practice guides.
Feedback & Engagement
Serve as the “voice of the provider,” capturing frontline insights and ensuring they inform training and system design.
Build strong, trust‑based relationships with providers, supporting satisfaction and engagement with clinical systems.
Promote PEDAT initiatives, driving participation in efficiency and adoption programs.
Analytics & Reporting
Track and report key outcomes such as reduced ticket burden, improved user satisfaction, and provider time saved.
Present findings to clinical and operational leaders, highlighting adoption successes and areas for improvement.

Job Requirements REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Health Informatics, Nursing, Public Health, or related field; and a minimum of 3 years of experience in clinical operations, informatics, Epic training, or optimization roles; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES (KSAs)
Strong knowledge of Epic applications and provider workflows, with proven experience using Epic Signal for optimization.
Demonstrated success supporting providers in high‑paced clinical environments.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and translate technical issues into meaningful improvements.
Familiarity with value‑based care, regulatory requirements (CMS QPP/MIPS, Joint Commission, DNV), and digital health metrics preferred.
Ability to manage multiple priorities independently across diverse clinical sites.
Compensation Range: $72,500.00- $105,000.00
