What you will need
License:
ARRT- MR
Education:
Certification or Associate's degree in Radiology from an accredited program
Certification:
CPR required
Experience:
Previous MRI Technologist experience preferred
Skills:
Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills required
What you will do Operates MRI equipment to obtain filmed images for use by physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of pathologies, according to Radiologist's directions and established procedures. Positions patients administers injections of contrast media and manipulates images to ensure a high quality exam. Delivers and ensures customer service in all aspects to job, being attentive of eye contact, facial/body expressions and tone of voice. Explains procedure to patient, giving opportunity for questions to reduce anxiety and promote trust.
