Leading Westchester hospital seek a Nursing Supervisor to provide leadership and support to the nursing staff during the night shift to ensure safe, high-quality patient care. Working collaboratively with leadership, the Supervisor provides clinical guidance, promotes effective communication, and helps the unit achieve departmental and organizational goals.
Responsibilities
Ensure safe, evidence-based patient care in alignment with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and best nursing practices.
Provide clinical leadership and support, including serving as a resource, mentoring staff, and participating directly in patient care as needed.
Lead quality and performance improvement initiatives, using measurable goals and outcomes to improve clinical practice and unit operations.
Promote effective interdisciplinary collaboration with physicians, staff, patients, families, and other departments to optimize care delivery.
Maintain a safe care environment, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and accreditation requirements.
Model professionalism and accountability, supporting organizational initiatives, resolving conflicts, and fostering a culture of excellent patient satisfaction.
Qualifications
Licensed Registered Nurse
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
A minimum of 2 years of acute care nursing experience
Charge experience preferred
Schedule
4 days per week, 9P - 7A,
Salary Range
$117,695 – $152,756
