Registered Nurse - In-Patient Oncology
University of Washington – UW Medical Center Northwest. The 4A oncology unit serves hematology-oncology patients, specializing in chemotherapy and biotherapy administration, management of treatment-related side effects, end-of-life care, and care of cancer-related complications. The unit also provides central venous access device care.
Sign-On Bonus:
$10,000 for eligible full-time and part-time new employees.
Pay Range:
$45.59–$83.64 hourly (including various premiums).
Work Schedule 36 hours per week (12-hour shifts) Variable shifts
Primary Job Responsibilities Screen patients for oncology treatment. Place IVs, initiate, assess, and observe patients during infusions. Provide procedural support. Document all activities in the Electronic Medical Record. Provide care management education for patients and their families.
Required Position Qualifications One year of current or recent oncology nursing experience. ONS Chemotherapy certification preferred. Active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Washington State. Active BLS Certification.
