Shift: Job Description Summary: This is a People Leader role. The incumbent must be based in Atlanta, GA and work a hybrid work schedule. The Senior Director of Data & Insights serves as the enterprise leader responsible for turning Coca-Cola North America’s data into a competitive advantage - powering key digital journeys and business decisions through trusted insights, predictive models, and intelligent automation. Reporting to the VP, Digital & Data, this role leads the activation of data and insights to accelerate business performance across the North America Operating Unit (NAOU) and is a key enabler of the Product Operating Model. The leader will define the data strategy and partner with our Digital Services organization to operationalize how data is discovered, used, and monetized across the OU and system. This leader ensures that advanced analytics and AI-driven solutions are embedded into workflows, enabling smarter decisions and measurable outcomes. This role will lead a cross-functional team of Data Product Managers and Analysts, scaling over time to include Data Science and AI/ML capabilities.

What You'll Do for Us Define

and Execute the NAOU Data Strategy – Establish a clear vision for NAOU data & analytics ensuring alignment of business outcomes with platform capabilities, in partnership with DTS including the NA DTS Lead of Data & Analytics

Activate Data

for Business Impact - Translate data into actionable insights that inform key business decisions. Embed analytics into core workflows to drive adoption and improve performance.

Lead Data

Product Portfolio – Oversee the development and lifecycle management of data products; partner with domain product leads to embed analytics and insights directly into business workflows.

Build and Scale the Data Organization

– Build and scale a high-performing team of analysts and data scientists. Foster a culture of innovation and data-driven decision-making.

Drive AI Value Creation

- Identify and prioritize AI use cases that deliver business value. Champion priorities that enhance forecasting, optimization, and automation, leveraging AI/ML models to unlock value.

Shape

and Communicate Insights to Leadership – Translate analytics into strategic business narratives that drive performance, innovation, and cultural change.

FINANCIAL / JOB SCOPE

Accountable for the NAOU Data & Analytics investment portfolio and data product roadmap.

Leads cross-functional alignment across Product and Digital Organization.

Partners with global data and AI teams to influence enterprise platform strategy and data governance standards.

COMMUNICATION COMPLEXITIES

Partners with the

VP Digital & Data, CFO, and Product Data & Analytics Lead

to ensure data priorities support strategic business outcomes.

Translates complex analytics and AI concepts into actionable insights for executive and field audiences.

Balances advocacy for data innovation with rigor in governance, privacy, and compliance.

Influences system and global data councils to ensure NAOU needs shape global data platforms and models.

JUDGMENT AND DECISION-MAKING

Final authority for defining and sequencing NAOU data and analytics priorities.

Provide input for data architecture, tooling, team design, and capability investments.

Recommender and influencer for global data platform strategy and enterprise analytics governance.

Accountable for ensuring data-driven outcomes are integrated into every product and customer journey.

INNOVATION

Introduces modern data-product thinking — treating datasets, models, and dashboards as evolving products with measurable business value.

Leverages AI and predictive analytics to enable faster, smarter decision-making.

Partners with digital and business teams embed data and insights seamlessly into domains.

Partners with DTS to define data governance and value-realization frameworks that balance innovation and control.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Direct Reports:

3-6 (Data Product Managers, Senior Analysts, Data Insights).

Indirect:

10-15 (Data & Analytics contributors and business analysts)

Scales over time to include Data Science and Advanced Analytics roles.

What You'll Need REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in data science, analytics, or business preferred.

Experience:

15+ years in data and analytics leadership, ideally in global consumer, or digital organizations.

Proven success building and scaling enterprise data & analytics teams.

Strong understanding of modern data environments - including cloud platforms, APIs, and data mesh - and advanced proficiency in leading visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau.

Deep experience with predictive modeling, applied AI/ML and business partnership.

Exceptional communication skills — able to translate data into executive-ready insights.

Financial and strategic acumen with experience managing multimillion-dollar portfolios.

Skills:

Pay Range: $224,100 - $257,600 Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.

Annual Incentive Reference Value Percentage: 50 Annual Incentive reference value is a market-based competitive value for your role. It falls in the middle of the range for your role, indicating performance at target.

Long-term Incentive Reference Value Percentage: 20 Long-term Incentive reference value is a market-based competitive value for your role.
