Director, Business Development, Law Firm Channel Join Kroll’s Risk Advisory Revenue Office as a Director of Business Development focused on the Law Channel. The role is based in our New York City office.

Salary Range:

$150,000 to $200,000

Responsibilities

Lead business development for the Law channel across North America in support of Risk Advisory’s growth goals.

Collaborate with service line leaders to identify key and target Law Firms, manage, maintain and grow relationships with those law firms across the region.

Drive revenue growth across key and target law firms through increasing our relationship strength and subsequent win rate by successfully introducing our broad portfolio of risk solutions to Law Firms and their clients.

Develop and implement key initiatives, including business plans and client satisfaction reviews.

Collaborate with stakeholders to implement and execute “Next Generation” business development initiatives and lead the “Go-To-Market Strategy” and subsequent reporting.

Partner with stakeholders to develop proposals, presentations and pricing strategies.

Strategic Relationship Management

Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand our Law Channel relationships.

Manage and nurture relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention.

Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to capitalize on them.

Collaborate with subject matter experts and marketing to create tailored solutions that meet client needs.

Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform business strategies.

Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and business development activities.

Represent our firm at industry events, conferences, and other networking opportunities.

Requirements

8+ years business development experience in professional services. Experience working in the legal sector or consulting firms is a plus, but not required.

Deep understanding of the Law Firm sector and risk advisory services.

Strong existing network of attorney relationships.

Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to establish and nurture long-term partnerships.

Exceptional communication and presentation skills.

Highly motivated, meticulous and energetic individual willing to work within a team structure.

Ability to navigate complex organizational structures and influence stakeholders.

Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously.

Ability to build a robust pipeline by originating and qualifying leads.

Visionary mindset to anticipate industry trends and market opportunities, to inform sales strategies and adapted solutions for our clients.

Close attention to detail, including careful record keeping with regards to sales activity, account mapping and account plans.
