Job Description Summary Develop global sourcing and procurement strategies for CAPEX. Manage the overall CAPEX process for all categories, representing about $354M in spend and direct responsibility for Facilities and MRO CAPEX (~$276M). Negotiate with suppliers to achieve optimal contractual terms while ensuring internal stakeholder satisfaction. Leverage industry knowledge and market trends to inform strategic decisions and drive continuous improvement. Build relationships with critical business stakeholders to meet current and future requirements. Lead a small high‑performing team, providing mentorship, coaching, and performance management. The primary location is the United States, but other global locations may be considered based on qualifications.

Roles and Responsibilities

Define and execute sourcing or category management strategies aligned with business goals.

Lead cross‑functional collaboration with properties, EHS, manufacturing, engineering, quality, and business teams.

Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards.

Conduct market research and competitive analysis to guide sourcing decisions.

Drive cost savings, risk mitigation, and sustainability initiatives.

Lead or support supplier transitions, audits, and performance evaluations.

Monitor and report on category performance metrics and implement improvements.

Ensure compliance with internal policies, quality systems, and legal requirements.

Provide leadership and mentorship to team members or direct reports.

Support global and regional sourcing initiatives and projects.

Required Qualifications

Significant experience in sourcing and sourcing management; comparable to a Bachelor’s degree (or high school diploma with 8+ years of experience).

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in indirect sourcing.

Strong negotiation skills with a record of successful contract, SOW, pricing, and terms negotiations.

Ability to navigate matrixed organizations, use spend analytics, and influence senior leaders.

Develop and implement global sourcing strategies aligned with long‑term goals.

Expertise in complex RFx development, cost modeling, scorecards, and award criteria.

Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication; analytical problem‑solving and documentation skills.

Proactive, flexible, and adaptable with a strong sense of urgency and integrity.

Proficient with MS Office Suite.

Ability to travel and communicate outside normal work hours.

Desired Characteristics

Experience in CAPEX, Facilities, Construction, Building Trades, EHS, Architecture, etc.

Strong leadership and influencing skills.

Cross‑cultural collaboration experience.

Capacity to build and maintain supplier relationships & performance.

Strategic thinking, problem‑solving, and risk assessment.

Lean or Six Sigma certification or process‑improvement experience.

Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.

Proficiency with sourcing tools and systems.

Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Fluency in English; additional languages a plus.

Compensation and Benefits For U.S. based positions the pay range is $129,600.00 – $194,400.00 annually. Compensation depends on skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Eligible for performance‑based incentive compensation, including cash bonus(es) and/or long‑term incentives.
