Warehouse Manager – Biomerics, Salt Lake City, UT
The Warehouse Manager leads receiving, storage, material handling, inventory management, inventory control and shipping activities for Biomerics’ Salt Lake City warehousing and distribution facility. Champions a safety‑focused, productive, and efficient environment, ensures data accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements. Mentors personnel and promotes professional development. Develops and maintains productive collaboration with cross‑functional stakeholders such as Purchasing, Planning, Operations, Customer Service, Engineering, Human Resources, Maintenance, and Environmental Health & Safety.
Responsibilities
Lead and mentor the Warehouse Team to achieve site safety, On‑Time‑In‑Full, inventory optimization and productivity goals.
Lead testing, implementation and sustainment of WMS system operations.
Lead cross‑functional end‑to‑end process development, documentation, training and metrics generation.
Champion inventory control program and continuous improvement, maintaining strict process adherence.
Collaborate with HR and site leadership to assess staffing structure and make improvements ensuring safety program adherence, productivity, accuracy and efficiency.
Collaborate with site leaders to redesign warehouse layout for safety, accessibility, space optimization and workflow efficiency.
Lead evaluation and optimization of current MHE mix for safety and efficiency.
Other duties as required.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years experience in warehouse/distribution center leadership roles.
Experience assessing and optimizing warehouse layout focusing on safety, productivity, efficiency and space optimization.
Experience with data analytics tools.
Familiarity with ERP/WMS systems.
Familiarity with NetSuite ERP (preferred).
Familiarity with RF_SMART WMS (preferred).
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
Experience in a highly regulated industry (medical, pharmaceutical, aerospace) preferred.
APICS CSCP or other relevant certification or training (preferred).
Hours & Benefits Hours: Monday through Friday

Additional Information Salary: $66,000.00–$107,000.00
