Branch Manager III – Boca Raton (Centennial Bank)
The Branch Manager III is responsible for the administration and the professional daily operation of one or more full-service branch offices. The Branch Manager III promotes bank products and services that support overall company goals and oversees approximately $60 million or more in deposits, while driving branch growth and community engagement.
Responsibilities
Partner with management to coordinate and attain branch, region, and company objectives.
Coach and lead a retail staff support team.
Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
Maintain the ability to back up all retail positions within the branch.
Perform all retail or branch operational functions accurately and timely.
Originate, process, and close various consumer and small business loan products.
Develop and grow business for the branch.
Participate in civic and community organizations as needed.
Complete regular monthly branch audits.
Follow all security procedures strictly.
Mitigate monetary losses through sound decision making and daily operations management.
Conduct regular staff meetings to keep staff informed.
Complete annual performance reviews and take disciplinary action when necessary.
Maintain a safe and professional business environment; ensure equipment is in good working order.
Participate in regular SWOT analyses for competitive advantage.
Lift coin bags up to 50 lb.
Evaluate and determine payment decisions within established limits.
Make hiring and termination staffing decisions/recommendations.
Approve wire verification/approvals and cash‑check limits.
Approve fee refunds/waivers within regional guidelines.
Seek customer interaction opportunities and prioritize customer service.
Operate safely with constant alertness.
Complete required BSA/AML and other compliance training.
Perform any other duties as required or assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
Equivalently a four‑year college degree and 5 years of related experience plus 2 years of related management experience, or a combination of education and experience.
Communication Skills
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and policy/procedure manuals.
Ability to professionally present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Mathematical Skills
Calculate figures such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
Apply concepts such as fractions, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Critical Thinking Skills
Solve practical problems and handle variable situations with limited standardization.
Interpret instructions in written, oral, or diagram formats.
Software Skills Required
Intermediate: 10‑Key, Spreadsheet, Word Processing/Typing.
Basic: Presentation/PowerPoint.
