Overview
We are seeking an experienced Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) to provide part-time onsite occupational health services at a large heavy manufacturing facility located in Northwest Houston. This role focuses on occupational injury management, OSHA-compliant medical surveillance, and collaboration with onsite nursing and safety teams. Fluency in Spanish or Vietnamese is preferred.
Responsibilities
Evaluate and manage work-related injuries and illnesses
Provide return-to-work and functional capacity recommendations
Perform OSHA-regulated surveillance exams (e.g., hearing conservation, respirator clearance)
Conduct focused physical exams related to job demands
Review audiograms and participate in Hearing Conservation Programs
Collaborate with onsite nursing staff, safety, HR, and management
Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT (if applicable), and company policies
Qualifications Required Qualifications
Current Texas licensure as ARNP or Physician Assistant
National board certification in applicable specialty
Minimum 2 years of occupational medicine or injury management experience
Knowledge of OSHA regulations, including Hearing Conservation
Fluency in Vietnamese
Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Fluency in Spanish or Vietnamese
Prior onsite or manufacturing clinic experience
Experience with heavy industrial or manufacturing environments
Familiarity with electronic medical record systems
DOT medical examiner certification (preferred but not required)
Supervision and Collaboration This position works under physician oversight as required by Texas law. The ARNP/PA will collaborate closely with an onsite occupational medicine physician and nursing staff.

Industrial manufacturing environment
May require walking through production areas
Use of personal protective equipment as required
